About Earthlings Trust

Earthlings Trust is an animal welfare NGO based in Delhi-NCR, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming sick, handicapped, and abandoned dogs. Founded in December 2018 by Sagarika Banerjee and Ditej Garg, we have cared for over 5000 dogs and currently provide permanent shelter to 350+ dogs.

A Journey of Love Resilience & Hope

Heartfelt Beginning of a Vision

- In December 2018, Sagarika Banerjee and Ditej Garg founded Earthlings Trust out of their deep compassion for animals.

A Growing Family with Love

- Over the years, Earthlings Trust has grown from a small shelter to a haven for over 350 dogs. As word spread, like-minded individuals joined the cause, bringing in various animals in need.

Standing strong through Adversity

- During the COVID-19 pandemic, Earthlings Trust kept its doors open, helping 62 dogs during Wave 1 and 122 dogs during Wave 2.

Rebuilding and Moving Forward

- After the devastating flood, Earthlings Trust relocated and rebuilt their shelter away from the river. By September 2023, they had established a new safe space for all their dogs, investing over INR 70 lacs.

Our Unwavering Initiatives

Our journey began with two little pups, Paalak and Methi, whom we rescued from the streets. Over the years, our family has grown to include over 350 dogs, each with their own story of hope and resilience. Despite challenges like the devastating floods of July 2023, we’ve persevered, rebuilding our shelter and continuing our mission.
