There was a guy who, with a lot in life, was dealing,

He tried everything from therapies to somatic healing…

While some things worked, most just didn’t!

His poor mental health constantly sent hints

He didn’t look left, He didn’t look right.

In four legs and a wet nose, his therapist stood in plain sight!

No time constraints, no billing clause,

He welcomed in Life…

“I rescued him. He saved me!”

What is TheraPaws?

Interacting with a dog for just 10 minutes significantly reduces cortisol (the stress hormone) in the human body.

TheraPaws is an initiative by Earthlings Trust that empowers the belief that adopting dogs, especially rescued indie dogs, can help humans with some on-ground assistance in their journey. Dogs provide humans with a sense of calm in their otherwise chaotic, hustling, bustling lives. It is so cherishing to have dog owners mention that their mental health has improved after adopting a dog.

WORKDAY WOOF

With dogs at the workplace, employees reported higher job satisfaction and a more positive perception of their employer.

Workday Woof is your go-to solution for taking a break at work. It is an initiative to bring our dogs to your workplace for a few hours, let you interact and witness their magic! Think of this as a mid-afternoon feeling, you’re at work, with deadlines to meet, and you don’t have a lot of energy left. Out of nowhere, a kind rescue dog moseys in with floppy ears and a wagging tail. It is not just a break but a fast recharge that builds good energy in your workspace, and a lot more fun!

Senior Dogs

Senior dogs are the most frequently certified therapy animals, ideal for working with elderly parents, PTSD Patients, kids with specialised needs and adults with anxiety or stress.

The calm presence, gentle nature, and quiet wisdom of senior dogs make them powerful emotional companions for those navigating stress, grief, anxiety, or loneliness. Unlike younger dogs, senior Earthlings don’t demand your energy—they hold space for your emotions. Whether it’s a child with special needs, an overwhelmed corporate employee, or an elderly person battling isolation, these golden-aged companions offer comfort without judgment—and therapy without a single word.

Adopt an Earthling— a companion with the power to heal. These gentle souls offer comfort, reduce stress, and bring emotional balance. When you open your home to them, you invite in calm, connection, and silent support that words can’t offer. By putting their love and well-being first, you will receive a loyal friend who is no short of a personal emotional sanctuary.

DONATE

India is home to an estimated 30 to 62 million free-ranging dogs, who often survive by scavenging from waste.

By donating to Earthlings Trust, you give dogs a chance to feel better, eat better, and live better.  The donations play a critical role in providing them with medical treatment, emergency needs and ensuring that the shelter is equipped to fulfil all their needs in the future. Indie dogs are millions strong, but support is millions too little. By choosing to adopt or sponsor, you’re not just saving one dog—you’re filling a system-wide funding void. You can even be a virtual parent by donating a fixed amount to the Trust every month. You can contact us to know more.

Aman

8 years old boy was found limping on the streets of Ghaziabad. He was given medical care and left on the streets, which worsened his wounds. Earthlings Trust stepped in time. With another surgery and right care we saved his leg. Gentle with humans, full of mischief with fellow dogs – this charming goofball is the best of both worlds.

Tut

11 years old was abandoned in Panchkula just for howling too loud. For the past 2 years, he’s been a part of the Earthlings family. Today, he’s a completely different dog – the happiest, most expressive and the first one to greet you at the gate. We call him the rockstar of Earthlings Trust. Now he wants one thing: a home where his voice is heard, not hated.

Malia

6.5 years old, so fair and soft, he looked exactly like malai, and that’s how he got his name. He came to Earthlings Trust after being rescued with Palak and Methi, his shelter siblings. Since then, Malai has grown into a bundle of mischief – super dynamic, always playful, and full of personality.

Roja

8 months old, Roja was left paralyzed after a car accident broke her spine. At only 2 months of age, her chances of survival were almost none. She still carries deep wounds, but we haven’t given up on her and neither has she. We’re doing everything we can to help her heal.

Genius

4 years old was rescued from Jamia Millia by a group of students. He had a deep maggot wound and was highly aggressive due to pain and fear. When he arrived at Earthlings Trust, it took time and patience – but slowly, he began to trust again. Today, he’s calm and affectionate.

Mary

10 years old, Mary was rescued from Laxmi Nagar by a student and brought to a nearby shelter but they refused to take her in. Left wandering in an auto, she eventually reached Earthlings Trust, weak and unable to eat or drink. An ultrasound revealed she had IBD, requiring immediate surgery – not once, but twice. Both times, she survived life-threatening conditions.Today, Mary is one of the gentlest souls at our shelter – a fighter with the softest heart.
